To download graph paper PDF click on the template that you would like to create from the selection below. Click on the page icon to download the PDF. It will be downloaded and placed in your downloads folder. You can open it from there. Depending on your browser’s settings, it might also ask you where to save or save somewhere else if you have defined your browser to save elsewhere.

If you want to download as a png image file then click on the cloud icon. Some of the pages will have a white background and some will have a transparent background.
How to Add Text or Images
If you don’t want blank graph paper then feel free to add text or even an image before you print. To add text, just click on the A icon and then type the text / title that you would like to appear. You can move the text around and make it bigger or smaller. To add an image, click on the image icon. You can also add clipart.
Choose the right graph paper
- 1-inch squares: a roomy option for counting, large drawings, and simple grid activities.
- ½-inch squares: a useful starting point for plotting points and organizing written calculations.
- ⅓-inch squares: choose a smaller grid when you need more cells on a page.
- Knitting grids: use the knitting templates above when you want a different cell shape; check your own stitch proportions before using a chart.
Print graph paper at the correct scale
For a labeled grid size, use Letter paper and choose Actual size or 100% in the print dialog. “Fit to page” changes the square size. Print a test sheet and measure a square with a ruler before using it for measured work.
Open a template to customize it, then choose PDF or image export where available. The designer may open in a new tab. For a clean print, check paper size and orientation, then print one test page.
